YanNick, born in the North of France, 30 years ago, left its life of advertising executive to realize its dream, live on the casic while discovering the world. For 5 years he measures various countries with his accordion on the meeting of the musicians without borders.
On the ways of the Bohemia, he has meet a Congolese, Solo Sita and Sos Watondo who will allow him to discover finally the scene. He was in Holland with hisDarbuka. Arrived in the Caribean, he is going to meet Cubans, Inhabitants of Guadeloupe then to join Toccata in Martinique island with his Ukulele.
The accordion appeared three years later when it arrives in Colombia by sailboat. He will form a French-Argentine duet, GRINGO LOCO, with Luciano Astori, guitarist. They will make the turn of South America during 2 years, by playing in streets, buses, bar, hotels, boats and some festivals. They will burn their cd, Gringo Loco, " El camino of Bohemia " in the studios of Bogota, and in the hotel rooms with their portable microphone. he produces in the graphic realization, the editing of videos, mastering the recording of the disk.
After this long travelling, Yannick brings in in France, and cheek for the first time in its country, France. The magic works but still shy, he decides to leave to Islands Canaries where he will meet Male, a percussioniste and a player of traditional african instrument to Senegal. The French-Senegalese duet will bring a new sound, which is again going to enrich its musical education and its journeys.
